Time for an update on Florida’s medical marijuana use since it has been a while. The total number of active qualified patients as of 6/21 was 234,204 out of a total of 311,443 patients. The total number of qualified doctors is 2,321. 1 new dispensing location was approved, a Trulieve in Orlando. The total amount of medical marijuana dispensed during this week was 64,948,496 mgs and the total amount of low-THC cannabis was 2,096,178.
The industry is still growing at a fast clip however it seems like the multiple lawsuits filed by the industry against the limitations of the law have many waiting to see how things will shake out.
