You may have noticed an email from the Florida Department of Health regarding a Medical Marijuana Use Registry Update over the weekend. Fear not, we’re here to break it down for you.
First, this new regulation has updated the daily allotted dosage amounts for each route. Prior to this regulation physicians could allot up to 400 mg THC per day per route based on their patient’s needs. Now, each route has a different max dosage per day. In addition, the aggregate allotted milligrams cannot exceed 24,500 mg of THC per 70-Day recommendation. Your low-THC cannabis will not be affected by this new rule.
